New Year in the Mountains

Spend an unforgettable New Year's Eve high above the valley in the middle of the ski area at 1,680 metres above sea level - bring the old year to a close in the cosy atmosphere of the Stöfeli Mountain Inn and toast the new year in the wintry mountain world.

Spend this year's New Year's Eve in the heart of the mountains in the Chäserrugg area. On 31 December 2026, you will be treated to an aperitif at the traditional Stöfeli Mountain Inn, followed by a festive five-course meal, while the children enjoy a tasty three-course meal. Shortly before midnight, raise a glass by the fire pits on the terrace of the Mountain Inn and start the New Year at a leisurely pace thanks to the cosy atmosphere. From the terrace, you can also enjoy a perfect view of the fireworks in the valley and the moonlit Alpstein massif.

The next morning, a hearty breakfast awaits you, ready to enjoy the new day on the ski or sleeding slopes. The day ticket for 1 January 2027 is already included, so you can start the New Year actively.
If you would prefer to enjoy your day of skiing on Thursday, 31 December 2026, please let us know and you will receive the day pass included in the price for 31 December 2026 instead of 1 January 2027. In this case, the included mountain trip can also be used as a descent on Friday, as you will be travelling to Stöfeli with the day pass on Thursday.
