Live Music in the Café-Bar

On selected evenings, the café bar at Unterwasser railway station is transformed into a stage for special musical experiences. From delicate folk music to modern DJ sets, the live acts create atmospheric moments in the elegant wooden ambience designed by Herzog & de Meuron. Enjoy a relaxed evening with selected drinks, good company and music.

Friday, 11. July | 19.00 - 24.00

After performances at Espel Music and the Iltios mountain restaurant, the Querdöre trio is now also playing at the new café bar. Doris Rütsche and Alex Manser founded the Querdöre trio in 2010. Initially as a temporary member, Erich Reichmuth has been an integral part of the group since 2015, playing the double bass.

On Friday, 11 July 2025, music of various styles will be heard in the café bar, true to the name ‘querdöre’.

Pop, rock and country with Italian flair: On Friday evening, 22 August 2025, Beppe Martinelli will be providing musical entertainment in the new café bar at Unterwasser railway station.

The Italian musician has been passionate about music since childhood, has released four singles and opened the live music series in the café bar in winter 2024.

On Friday evening, 10 October 2025, Beppe Martinelli will provide musical entertainment in the new café bar at Unterwasser station.

Friday, 24. October 2025

The siblings grew up in Obertoggenburg and have been performing as Echo vom Schofberg for some time now. Back in winter 2024, they had several gigs at the café bar of the newly built Unterwasser railway station.

On Friday evening, 24 October 2025, Echo vom Schofberg will play again in the café bar, bringing a cosy atmosphere to the café bar with their traditional music.
