The excursion tickets can be used for the ascent and descent starting from Unterwasser respectively Alt St. Johann.  If you would like to take the uphill and downhill rides on different routes while hiking, you will find the appropriate ticket with the hiking tickets.

The one-way tickets can be used for the ascent or descent on the purchased route. The only exception is the ticket Iltios - Chäserrugg - Iltios, which is valid for one ride uphill from Iltios and a subsequent ride from the summit back to Iltios.

Discounts

GA/Half-Fare Travelcard holders

Holders of a valid SBB General Abonnement or Half-Fare travelcard receive a 50% discount on single journeys as well as hiking tickets.

To receive the GA or Half-Fare Card discount, the GA season ticket must be presented at the ticket office when you buy the ticket.

SBB Junior Travelcard

With the Junior Card, a child from 6 years until its 16th birthday travels free of charge when accompanied by a parent.

SBB Children’s Companion Travelcard

With the Children’s Companion Travelcard a child from 6 years of age until its 16th birthday travels free of charge when accompanied by an adult.

Children under 6 years of age

Children under the age of 6 travel free when accompanied by a parent.

Disabled passengers

With the SBB Disabled ID Travelcard (Companion Travelcard), one accompanying person travels free of charge. Passengers with limited mobility can apply for the Companion Travelcard at the cantonal offices.

Dogs

Dogs are allowed on the railway facilities without charge.
