Chäserrugg Summit Restaurant

Sophisticated culinary delights with a panoramic view of six countries - the Summit Restaurant by Herzog & de Meuron offers visitors memorable moments at 2,262 metres above sea level in all weather conditions. The top station already set an example during its construction; for environmental reasons all the equipment with the exception of the crane was delivered by cable lift. Sustainability is an essential factor for us and we place importance on using regional and seasonal products. 

 

Unique cuisine

Our chefs at the summit create culinary highlights using mostly local products! Enjoy them together in the spacious main restaurant or in one of the quiet niches. With a variety of delicacies in the Main Restaurant with table service and at the take-out in the Hall, you are sure to find something that will make your mouth water.

The entire restaurant is wheelchair accessible and easily reached by the lifts for people with limited mobility.

The Hall

Do you want to make a quick stop and if possible hike to the Hinterrugg or enjoy the East Run again? With the take-out you can recharge your batteries quickly and conveniently. Visitors can enjoy two to three meals a day with fresh products which they can purchase at the bar with their drinks.

The Main Restaurant

Do you have time and want to enjoy your skiing or hiking excursion to the fullest? Let us spoil you in our Main Restaurant on the summit with table service. In the west wing of the summit building you can enjoy a varied and seasonal menu. Our chefs focus on using and reinterpreting regional products.

The Terrace

Do you want to enjoy even more fresh mountain air? Then take a seat on our sheltered terrace overlooking the Rosenboden plateau. Here you can choose between the area with table service which belongs to the main restaurant and the outside area of the hall with its take-out options.
