Full moon dinner on the Chäserrugg

Sophisticated summit dining, wooden architecture by Herzog & de Meuron and a unique atmosphere at sunset –the full moon dinner at 2,262 metres above sea level is a spectacular experience without any spectacle.

Enjoy an exquisite four-course menu with local and seasonal Toggenburg products in the Summit Restaurant on the Chäserrugg. A vegetarian option is also available for each course. The high windows offer a unique view of the night-time mountain scenery and after spending time on the terrace the sofas around the freestanding fireplace are the perfect place to warm up.

You can use the train ticket for the event to travel up the mountain during the day and hike across the Rosenboden plateau before dinner and enjoy the afternoon in the mountains.

Travelling to the summit and back in comfort
First of all, take the new funicular from Unterwasser Station to Iltios before changing to the aerial cableway to reach the summit. The last ascent from Unterwasser takes place at 7.00 pm, before that the funicular railway runs every 30 minutes.

After an enjoyable evening, the cable car and then the funicular will take you back to Unterwasser
