Chäserrugg Mountain Run 2026

Heading towards the summit with a constant view of the majestic Churfirsten: on the roughly 8 km route from Unterwasser to the summit, you’ll climb 1,352 metres in altitude along varied trails, accompanied by unique views.

With its natural route offering stunning views, the Chäserrugg Mountain Run is a fantastic experience not only for seasoned athletes but also for beginners and those simply looking to enjoy the scenery. The generous time window gives many participants the chance to reach the summit – and thus the finish line – in good time. The route leads through pine forests, over stony natural steps and along the long ridge to the summit of the Chäserrugg at 2,262 metres above sea level. Throughout the entire run, you will be accompanied by the unique views of the Toggenburg region with its Churfirsten mountains and the surrounding valleys.
