Opening hours
Weekend operations on 15 and 16 November 2025
Due to favourable weather conditions, the Chäserrugg summit restaurant, the funicular railway (Unterwasser – Iltios) and the cable car (Iltios – Chäserrugg) will also be open on the weekend of 15 and 16 November 2025, in addition to Unterwasser Station.

Information on operations
Starting October 20, 2025, we are in the mid-season. The cableways and restaurants are closed from Monday to Friday. In good weather, the facilities on the Unterwasser – Iltios – Chäserrugg axis, as well as the Iltios Mountain Restaurant and the Chäserrugg Summit Restaurant, are open on weekends. Information about weekend operations can be found on thursday here on the website.
The café-bar at Unterwasser station and the Tourist Info Center with post office are open daily.
