Sledging pass on Stöfeli

The mountain section of the sledging run from Stöfeli combines sport and fun! The 5.9 km long piste ending in the valley near Unterwasser is rich in variety of terrain and views.

The successively curved section from Stöfeli to the funicular railway mountain station on the Iltios passes through forest and open inclines. From there you sledge either to the Stöfeli lift valley station at Espel to return to the start of the sledging run or prolong your descent and enjoy the full 5.9 km into the valley near Unterwasser.

Between the sections of descent you can rest and refuel at the Stöfeli Mountain inn, the Iltios Mountain Restaurant or at the Espel Pavilion. These opportunities to eat impress with their traditional cuisine, cosy atmosphere and a terrace for soaking up the winter sun.
