Leisurely Group Outing

The circular trail at the top of the Chäserrugg takes you across the entire Rosenboden plateau and surprises you with its view of Lake Walen and over 500 mountain peaks in 6 countries. During the leisurely hike you can actively relax and enjoy the deceleration at 2,262 m above sea level. In addition to the unique view, your hike is complemented by the well-kept infrastructure of the architects Herzog & de Meuron and a culinary lunch in the summit restaurant.

Hike together along the Churfirsten: From Alp Sellamatt to Iltios, exciting legends from Toggenburg accompany you on the Sagenweg (legend trail) Hikers have the opportunity to get to know new things as well as try them out on these routes. At the same time, there is still enough free space to exchange ideas and enjoy the panorama.
Once you have arrived at the Iltios mountain restaurant, fortify yourself on the sun terrace or in the cosy indoor area with a lunch menu made from local products. Afterwards, the traditional funicular takes you down to Unterwasser. 

On a relaxed hike, discover the gentle tourism strategy of the Chäserrugg area, for which the Toggenburg Bergbahnen AG was honoured with the "Landscape of the Year" award by the Swiss Landscape Conservation Foundation in 2021.

On the route you hike through the unique nature of the Churfirsten and pass the various locations with informative glass steles about the topic "Landscape of the Year". A 3-course culinary menu based on local products awaits you at the summit.
