Yellow slopes - the ungroomed challenge
The downhill tip for powder snow
While the correct technique on steep slopes is a challenge for the sporty skier, there is another: the yellow runs. These routes are marked and secured, but not groomed. Avalanche-safe skiing in deep snow is thus possible and the experienced skier finds completely new approaches to adapting and optimising his skiing style on these routes. Here it is essential to ski in an energy-saving yet dynamic manner. When skiing on yellow-marked slopes, you can also enjoy the authenticity of the mountain nature and avoid at the same time the wildlife rest areas.
In the Chäserrugg area you will currently find the yellow piste over the "Mittelschwendi" (No. 21) as well as through the "Burenwald" (No. 22).
