Start Summer Season 2026
The summer season kicks off as early as Friday, 1 May 2026, and the cable cars between Unterwasser, Iltios and Chäserrugg will be open daily! Why not plan a springtime trip to the summit – perhaps even on skis again – or start gathering ideas for the summer?
On Sunday, 12 April 2026, the 2025/26 winter season will come to an end and the lifts will stand still for a brief moment. But not for long, because just 18 days later, on 1 May 2026, operations will resume on the Chäserrugg. From then on, the Chäserrugg summit restaurant and the Iltios mountain restaurant will be open daily, and the funicular and cable car will take you up to the summit and back down to the valley every day until 25 October 2026. to the opening hours
If conditions allow, skiing will once again be possible on the Chäserrugg in early May. We will be happy to let you know as soon as a decision has been made!
