Night of stars at 2'262 meters above sea level

Discover the stars in the impressive night sky on the summit of the Chäserrugg. A delicious dinner from the summit kitchen will strengthen you to then explore the stars in professional company!

On the Night of stars on 29 July, you will be within reach of the stars at 2,262 meters above sea level with those ideal conditions. Enjoy the wonderful wooden architecture of the mountain station by Herzog & de Meuron and enjoy dinner in the summit restaurant. Afterwards, you will be introduced to the science of the stars. An Astronomer from ETH Zurich will explain the night sky to you before you take a closer look through the telescope. The Astronomical Association of Toggenburg (AVT) accompanies you.

Warm clothing and suitable footwear are recommended. Children from the age of about 8 years are also welcome. In case of bad weather, the night of stars would be postponed to 5 August.
