Trail conditions in the Chäserrugg region
In the Chäserrugg region many weather conditions are possible – sunshine, snow flurries and banks of fog. These naturally also affect the hiking trails. Check the current condition of the trails here and plan your next hiking route.
Status on 6 October 2021
At 1,300 m above sea level, the first snowflakes have already fallen and at lower altitudes, especially at shady exposures, certain sections of trail are sometimes wet and slippery. Good footwear is essential on all hikes in the Chäserrugg area.
Enjoy the natural mountain landscape, and don’t forget to be respectful towards nature and comply with the regulations of the wildlife protection zones. Plan your upcoming hiking route carefully and pay attention to the weather forecast. Further information about hiking in the mountains is available on the website of the Swiss Council for Accident Prevention (BFU) in the mountain hiking section.
